Abstrakt
This article examines the role of women as bearers of cultural heritage from the perspective of two prominent Ukrainian and Polish figures: Sofia Rusova and Maria Konopnytska. Their contributions to the formation of national identity through educational and literary activities are analyzed. The study highlights the significance of women’s role in the preservation of cultural traditions and identifies unresolved issues requiring further study. The article aims to systematize the views of both figures and assess their relevance in contemporary contexts. It highlights the importance of women’s participation in the preservation of cultural heritage and suggests directions for future research. By examining Rusova’s pedagogical legacy and Konopnytska’s literary work, the article identifies common themes in their thinking, such as the promotion of women’s voices in society and the need for education as a means of strengthening national consciousness. The findings highlight that women have historically played a decisive role in the formation of cultural identity and their contribution remains vital in addressing contemporary challenges related to cultural preservation.
